Art, Activism and Youth
Youth movements are growing in number, voice and agency worldwide. This session opens up discussion with youth-led activists RE-PEAT from the Netherlands who are dedicating attention to the ecological and cultural value of peatlands.
They work on raising awareness, making connections between different people and organisations, and political advocacy. “The Peat Anthology, EU Edition”, is a collection of letters, anecdotes, poems, images and stories from 45 contributors that will be sent to the Members of European Parliament before the upcoming EU Common Agricultural Policy decision in October 2020.
